1. Daily Cleaning Tasks
Keeping your bedroom clean doesn’t require a ton of effort. If you just do a teeny tiny bit every single day, it really adds up over time! Start by making your bed every morning. Do it immediately and tidy things up such as your blanket and pillows. Put your dirty clothes in the hamper to avoid clutter and consider opening the window for a bit for some fresh air.
2. Weekly Cleaning Tasks
Having a weekly scheduled clean-up of your bedroom can mean tackling those dusty lampshades or picture frames or getting around to changing your pillowcase and bedsheets. Then a quick vaccum or sweep for your floor and under the furniture and voila! done!

3. Monthly Cleaning Tasks
Once in a month having a deep cleaning in your bedroom is a must to keep your space fresh. Have a dedicated microfiber cloth or wipes, dust surfaces and wipe down the windows and mirrors. Switching out any trash bins, or putting away clutter from any of your other rooms etc would be tasks that fall here too.
4. Seasonal Cleaning Tasks
Aside from your daily and weekly cleaning tasks, having your bedroom space deep cleaned every season is important. In spring, deep clean your mattress and pillows (YouTube how to properly clean them!!) to get rid of dust mites and allergens. Replace and wash your curtains or blinds. Declutter and reorganize your wardrobe and put winter or summerwear in the storage box. Donate the clothes that maybe you haven’t touched in over a year. Swap the bedding into comforters in the fall and prepare winter bedding before the winter season arrives.

5. Organizing Your Cleaning Supplies
We’re a big fan of having accessible cleaning supplies right where you need them. Having to go into the storage close to grab things out, set up, and put back in, is too much work. Just have a couple quick wipes or maybe a hand vaccum handy so that you can easily complete your cleaning tasks. Tip: opt to keep your cleaning supplies in wall-mounted organizers or shelves. Use the drawer dividers to keep your cleaning products separated and prevent clutter. Make sure to label your cleaning supply items.
TIP: Repurpose an old shoe box to keep everything organized!
